"compared to〜"は、「〜と比べて」という意味です。同様に、"in
comparison with〜"で、「〜と比較すると」ということもできます。
例 In comparison to her coworker, she's very aggressive.
なお、"aggressive"には上記のような肯定的な意味もありますが、「攻撃的な」「強引な」といった、否定的な意味もあります。
She's too aggressive.: 彼女は強引すぎます。 |
