"intrude"には「立ち入る」「邪魔をする」「押しかける」などのような意味があります。
I apologize for intruding.: 邪魔をして申し訳ありません。
I would not want to intrude on your privacy.: あなたのプライバシーを侵害したくはありません。
また、「大勢の方が楽しいよね」という時の決まったフレーズで、"The more, the marrier!"という言い方もあります。上記の場合では、"It's
more fun to eat with more people. "の代わりに使うことができます。 |
