John:	Hi. This is John Nakatsu calling from BBB Production. May I speak to someone in charge of marketing?
Receptionist:	That will be Tom Smith. Let me tranfer you to him. Please hold.
John:	Thank you.

Receptionist:	XYZ Corporationです。
John:	BBB ProductionのJohn Nakatsuという者ですが、マーケティング担当の方を御願いできますか？
Receptionist:	担当はTom Smithになります。おつなぎします。お待ち下さい。
John:	どうも。

"in charge of ～"は、「～の責任を持つ」という意味です。

"I'm in charge of promotion." （プロモーション担当です）
"I'm not in charge of this" （これは私の責任範囲にはありません）
"I'm in charge of cleaning this room."
（この部屋の掃除を担当しています）

という言い方があります。
