this weekend, but I'm sure we'll get it done on Monday. |
| Boss: |
ジョー、プロジェクトの状態はどうだい？ |
| Joe: |
今日中には終わりそうにありません｡ |
| Boss: |
週末はあいてるのかい？もしやりたければ、時間外勤務をしてもいいんだよ。 |
| Joe: |
実は、今週末はオリンピック半島にキャンプに行くことになっているんです。でも月曜日には終わらせることができると思います。 |

| "Are
you free?"は、"Are you available?"と同様に使われます。後者の場合は、その人がシングルかどうか聞いている意味合いになることもあります。前者の場合は、そういう意味合いはありません。 |
