About Us

Junglecity.com is the award-winning Japanese language portal dedicated to providing the most extensive and up-to-date information on Seattle and Washington state. Since 1998, Junglecity has consistently provided thousands of Japanese with high-quality content updated daily, revolutionizing the way Japanese get information about the area through over 10,000 pages of original content.

Prior to Junglecity, the only Japanese publications were a community newspaper and two free biweekly and monthly community papers with much less content. Imagine if Seattle didn't have English language dailies like the Times and P-I, only less frequent and more limited publications and without the Internet!

Junglecity continues to be the area's first and only professionally created and managed Japanese portal. Our reporting -- everything from lifestyle to restaurants and services, news, and interviews with area professionals -- is fresh, in-depth, and useful.

And our popular 17 bulletin boards, which generate over 2,000 postings per week, provide a totally new way for our users to communicate. Before Junglecity, information exchange was limited to one's circle of friends and acquaintances. With our bulletin boards, thousands of Japanese tap into a much broader network to exchange information at unprecedented speed.

A foreign city can sometimes seem like a jungle. Our goal is to inform users by providing comprehensive and accurate information in a way that will connect the Japanese with our region. Junglecity gives our users the opportunity to make informed decisions. We connect people and enable them to exchange information and share their experiences.

With Junglecity, the process of discovering our splendid region is fun and exciting, which is why so many new users and businesses are discovering us every day!

Junglecity.com is owned, produced, and managed by Junglecity Network, Inc.
